CAVALIADA Summer in Świnoujście 2023 is the perfect start of family holiday!
CAVALIADA Summer is the event addressed to a wide audience. Programme of events covers the whole day when nobody will be bored! The youngest participants will certainly be interested in the CAVALIADA Future competitions, featuring best children in Poland competing on ponies!
An additional attraction for children will certainly be meetings with idols from the equestrian world.
Each day extremely spectacular special competitions will be held!
On Thursday we would like to draw your attention to the most difficult and exciting competition during which we will be able to see the contest of the best riders and reliable horses, namely, the Big Round. The Team Competition will certainly be noteworthy, in which several to more than a dozen pairs will compete. As evening entertainment on the same day, we recommend the show block, during which a lot of fun is guaranteed. On the other hand, one of the highlights of the programme on Friday will be the horse carriage driving, beloved by the audience, as part of CAVALIADA Summer in Świnoujście, where the public will see three competitions in two-horse carriage driving. On that day the evening show block should not be missed either. Saturday is full of variety - two CAVALIADA Future competitions - the classic competition and the relay, where both children and adults will compete as well as horses and a car. Saturday will also feature a dynamic and spectacular Speed & Music speed competition. On Sunday, the grand final of the competition, CAVALIADA Future and GRAND PRIX will be held.

An inherent part of each CAVALIADA is a series of shows and attractions for the audience. From stunts to a show of beautiful horses. During the June event, the evening show blocks are a surprise we are preparing for our favourite audience at the end of each day.
Fair of Equestrian Equipment and Accessories
CAVALIADA Expo is a Fair of Equestrian Equipment and Accessories. The topics of the fair cover all issues related to equestrian sports and active leisure: equestrian clothing and equipment, stable equipment, horse care preparations and supplies, vitamins, feed, souvenirs, trade publications and services.

SHOW JUMPING is the most popular equestrian competition in Poland and worldwide and the basis of our sports programme. In this competition, a pair composed of a rider and a horse cross obstacles placed on the course. Each obstacle is constructed in a way that is safe for both the horse and the rider, i.e. the elements they jump over fall to the ground even at a slight impact. In jumping competitions, a horse and a rider have to overcome several to several dozen obstacles in the specific sequence, time, making as few mistakes as possible. A mistake is knocking down the pole or the horse's refusal to obey, i.e. stopping in front of an obstacle or avoiding an obstacle. The order of jumping over obstacles is determined by numbers next to the obstacle and the direction of jumping over obstacles is determined by flags hung on the obstacle, a white flag is passed with the left hand and a red one with the right hand; the flags determine the correct width of the obstacle to be jumped over. A knockdown, breaking out or exceeding the time limit are penalised with penalty points. Competitions at various heights and ranks are held during CAVALIADA.
CSI2* next to the name of an event stands for international show jumping competition. The number of stars indicates the financial pool to be won, the higher the number of stars the higher the pool and the greater the prestige of the event.
Competitions at CAVALIADA are not only classic show jumping competitions. The program abounds in "special" competitions
Competition at CAVALIADA is not just the classic show jumping. The programme is rich of “special” competitions, let's review some of them. The Team Competition is a competition between several to more than a dozen pairs on the same parkour. The team with the best aggregate score in the competition is the winner. The Team Competition is an excellent opportunity for family members or one club to compete together.
The Barrier Competition is a competition very similar to the one we know from the Power Jump which is adored by the public. In the Barrier Competition, competitors overcome a series of obstacles lined up for two steps of the horse's gallop. Each row can contain from 4 to 6 obstacles, with the last obstacle being the highest one.
The specification of the competition requires great strength and agility of the horses and very high precision of the riders. The competition includes a basic ride and up to four games during which the height of the obstacles increases.
Speed & Music is a spectacular speed competition. Time is the most important factor in this competition, as each penalty point is converted into penalty seconds. It happens many times that riders who take a risk with a dynamic and very “short” ride despite the drop get the overall best score. The competition is accompanied by dynamic music to warm up the audience for cheering.
CAVALIADA Future is the competition between Poland's best children on ponies. Children who have achieved the best results in the Polish Indoor Cup and the Polish Championships are admitted to compete. The CAVALIADA Future - Relay , on the other hand, is a team competition, in which the total score of a team consisting of a rider of the mini and midi category and an adult rider who travels by car counts!
HORSE CARRIAGE DRIVING
As part of CAVALIADA Summer Świnoujście 2023, we will see three competitions in two-horse carriage driving. Eight teams selected from earlier qualifiers will take part in the competition. On Friday and Sunday will see two-round carriage driving agility competitions, where the most successful (least mistakes and best time) pair will win. On Saturday we will see a very spectacular parallel competition, with two teams competing in successive qualifying rounds until a winning pair is selected.

The Evening Show Blocks is a surprise we are preparing for the CAVALIADA Summer Świnoujście audience at the end of each day! At the moment we will not disclose the performers of individual blocks, such information will appear in May!
