CAVALIADA Summer returns to the Baltic Sea!

The MTP Group has been organising the most recognised equestrian events in Poland under the CAVALIADA Tour brand for more than ten years. The events attract tens of thousands of fans and hundreds of competitors from all over the world. The competition takes place in the most popular equestrian events, i.e. show jumping, eventing, four-horse carriage driving, dressage and vaulting. The sporting attractions are complemented by interesting show blocks and the largest fair of equestrian equipment and accessories in Poland. So far, the CAVALIADA Tour has mainly been hosted by the largest arenas: in Kraków, Sopot and Warsaw, as well as in the fair facilities in Poznań and Lublin.

- After Warsaw, Poznań, Sopot and Kraków, in the series of indoor competitions, the time has come for Świnoujście. Thanks to the most beautiful, widest beach in Poland, it is possible to hold competitions here that the whole world dreams of, since competitions on the beach have so far only been held in Miami, Florida. The second venue of this kind in the world will be Świnoujście, as the host city of the CAVALIADA Summer in the second half of June next year – says Tomasz Kobierski , President of the Management Board of the MTP Group.

In 2016, on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of  Poznań International Fair, CAVALIADA Summer Jumping was organised on the beach in Kołobrzeg. The event was the first and so far, the only International Equestrian Competition in Europe, held directly on the beach. After seven years, to the great delight of fans and competitors, CAVALIADA Summer returns to the Baltic Sea coast again! This time, the destination is Świnoujście.

- The MTP Group has been planning CAVALIADA Summer for many years. The previous event, held in Kołobrzeg, was extremely successful and fans are still eagerly awaiting the next summer edition. The huge logistical challenge of organising an unconventional event was disturbed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Fortunately, thanks to the successful indoor edition of CAVALIADA Tour 2021/2022, held in four locations, the bold plans have been revisited, says Jakub Patelka, director of CAVALIADA Tour.

Świnoujście is the north-westernmost city in Poland. It has very good transport links to the centre of the country and great tourist attractions. What is very important for the organiser is that Świnoujscie has the widest beach in Poland! Owing to the cooperation established between the MTP Group and the Świnoujście City Hall, CAVALIADA Summer will once again be hosted by the Baltic Sea as early as in mid-June 2023.

- We have the widest beach on the Baltic Sea, we have the warmest sea in this region, we have thousands of satisfied tourists and we it is very important for us that they remember their time spent in Świnoujście for as long as possible and come back to us every year, says Janusz Żmurkiewicz, the Mayor of Świnoujście. - This is why we are constantly working to enrich the city's offer, both in terms of attractiveness for tourists and for tourists and our residents our residents. CAVALIADA is an event that has the potential to become the hit of next year's summer season, which will be even more special due to the fact that Świnoujscie will be accessible via a newly commissioned tunnel. That is why, already today I would like to invite everyone to Cavaliada.

The basis of the sport programme of CAVALIADA Summer Świnoujście 2023 will be the International Horse Jumping Competition. The public will have the opportunity to see the best Polish riders as well as numerous foreign guests, CAVALIADA's friends. There will certainly be no shortage of special competitions adored by equestrian enthusiasts, such as the spectacular power jump and the very fast speed & music. The youngest riders, well known from the CAVALIADA Future competitions, will also have their five minutes on the arena. Other competitions planned for the CAVALIADA Summer Świnoujście 2023 will include the extremely dynamic four-horse carriage driving and classical dressage. Traditionally, the sporting programme will be diversified with interesting show blocks performed by stunt and reconstruction groups and national breeding centres. The beach in Świnoujście will certainly offer plenty of space for the fair of equestrian equipment and accessories, where every rider (and not only) will find something for themselves.

The event is primarily addressed to equestrian enthusiasts, whose numbers are increasing every year in our country. Riding is currently experiencing a renaissance and outdoor physical activity itself is fashionable.

Another group that will certainly be interested in CAVALIADA Summer are families with children. A programme rich in attractions, the opportunity to admire beautiful horses at hand and the wonderful climate of the Baltic Sea in the hot June sunshine will certainly attract a wide audience. Horse riding is an elegant sport, and the high profile of the competition as well as the beautiful location certainly add to the already high prestige of the event. On the other hand, the VIP area organised during the event is the perfect place for business meetings. The unique atmosphere of the event, with good food and a glass of prosecco, will certainly attract the most demanding guests. We invite everyone to Świnoujście in June 2023.
