I've been waiting for this for a long time

The course may have seemed relatively easy for a Longines Ranking class. However, the fans could point out two decisive elements. The first was a line consisting of two combinations, jumped directly after one another. The riders had to do five big strides in a straight line. Many found this element very difficult. A significant challenge was the environment - some of the obstacles were jumped towards the sea, some towards the screen, others towards the exit. Although the fences were set at quite big distances, many proved to be very demanding. In the end, 11 of the 38 competing pairs qualified for the jump-off, and the competition between the Poles and strong riders from Germany was fierce.

The home athletes rode brilliantly, in particular Marek Lewicki, who took second place aboard Come. Martin Rozynek could celebrate his personal best today, taking third place. In the end, the winner, well deservedly, was a regular CAVALIADA participant, Germany’s Philipp Schober riding Guesssina. The recipe for success turned out to be short turns and fast pace, especially up to the last fence.

- The course designer did a great job today. The track was very fair. As you can see from the results, there were a lot of mistakes and 11 pairs entered the jump-off. That one proved to be very fast. I am very happy to have won, especially as I had waited a long time for this. I am also delighted that it happened on this beautiful beach. There's a great atmosphere here, we're jumping right by the sea, it's really amazing. It's always good to be at CAVALIADA," says Philipp Schober.

Lukasz Brzóska returned to the rivalry in the big classes. His horse Quicklensky coped very well with this demanding course. Also noteworthy was Laura Kłapińska, a Polish junior, for whom advancing to the jump-off was a great success in itself. She finished her performance in eighth place.

Germany’s Marc Bettinger won the Medium Tour, for the prize of Śliwocki Home, riding dutch-bred Lex. Second place went to Daria Kobiernik (POL) with Venus, and third to Anna Stasiak (POL) and Con Cordia.

Friday’s rivalry ad CAVALIADA Summer began with the Sunrise Tour – 110 cm, for the prize of Idea Expo, and 120 cm, for the prize of Wyspiarz - Sports and Recreation Center. In the 110 cm class, the winner was Amelia Depta (POL) with Chantilly T. Jacek Muraczewski (POL) aboard Aria triumphed in the 120 cm.
