22-year-old German rider Marvin Jungel was victorious in the PKO Bank Polski Grand Prix, for the prize of PKO Bank Polski, under the patronage of the Mayor of Świnoujście – the finale of the showjumping rivalry at CAVALIADA Summer.

35 horse-and-rider combinations took part. The course proved to be really selective, as only three of them advanced into the jump-off. The most demanding part was the triple combination at the end of the track. A six-stride line from a triplebarre to a big oxer, as well as the second combination of two delicate verticals PKO Bank Polski also played their part in the class. Poles fell all over, and the riders had to keep the time allowed in mind as well. The jump-off was really interesting. The athletes already secured a considerable amount of prize money, so no one was afraid to take a risk. Each of them went faster, with even smarter turns, and the top of the leaderboard kept changing.

The victory of the young German is not a surprise. A month ago, Marvin Jungel was the best rider in the Hamburg Derby – one of the most prestigious classes in the world. He took his other horse to Świnoujście, but Pessoa C by Cicero Z van Paemel also proved to be a great

- I am very happy. My horse jumped great throughout the whole competition without making a single mistake. Pessoa C is only 8 years old, so I'm even more pleased with this victory. The course was very demanding today, only three clears and a very fast jump-off, so I am very proud. I think the triple combination was the most difficult, a lot of found it tricky" says Marvin Jungel. He adds - We are right on the beach, we have beautiful weather, the show was very successful and I hope I can ride here again more than once.

Second place went to Carla Winkelmann (GER) with Enno 55, and third place belonged to Poland’s Adam Nicpon and Counter.

It is also worth mentioning the riders who placed in the top ten. Just behind the podium was Dawid Skiba with Odilon Van Het Bevrijdthof, followed by: Philipp Schober (GER) with Guesssina, Martin Rozynek riding Kamir Red Wine, Piotr Szmytkowski with Tigrina, Christoph Lanske (GER) with Catching Fire 14, Cassandra Orschel with Van Der Vaart R and Daniela Haase (GER) aboard M Quality.

Earlier, in the Small Tour Final, for the prize of TVP Sport, under the patronage of the Polish Tourist Organisation, victory went to Jan Bobik and Hasala. Monika Pasik and Coca Light Semilly were second, and the last place on the podium was taken by Germany's Franziska Lass with Concetto N.

The 135 cm Last Chance competition for the prize of Nuba Equi, under the patronage of the Poznan University of Life Sciences, was dominated by the Germans. In first place - Christoph Lanske, who with Strawberry Girl won the previous two Small Tour classes, this time galloped for victory riding Lady. Second place went to Daniela Haase with Kyamant Van't Spieveld. The podium was rounded off by the representative of Poland, Daria Kobiernik aboard the 10-year-old mare Colette.
