Big Round for Głoskowski

The most important competition of the first day of CAVALIADA Summer Świnoujście - the Big Tour, for the prize of the National Support Centre for Agriculture, under the patronage of tylkoskoki.pl, ended with the win of Andrzej Głoskowski (POL) riding Verdinale.

In the Big Tour, where the obstacles reached 140 cm, the cast of competitors was very strong. Guests from abroad showed their excellent form during their rider, proving to the audience that they are well prepared for this competition.

They were not outdone by the Poles, who did great in this class. The course, set up by the German course designer, allowed for a smooth ride through the fences in a fast gallop, it also had a few turns, especially towards the obstacle of the National Support Centre for Agriculture, where precision and tight turns were key to having the best possible time.

Polish representative Andrzej Głoskowski with Verdinale coped best with this task. A very experienced rider, who in the past - as if on cue - won many prestigious classes. In horsemanship you still need to have this particular horse and our representative, as we have seen, rides an exceptional one. Thanks to this, the home athlete will surely be a dangerous contestant in the next important classes of CAVALIADA Summer.

- The course rode very well, I planned to tighten the turns as much as possible, Verdinale is a horse that is strong, big and slow, so I couldn't rush him so much in the long distances, I planned out one line a bit differently, it didn't work out, but it was enough to win. Tomorrow we are going to compete in the Big Tour, counting for the Longines Rankings, on Saturday we will rest and on Sunday, if it works out, we will ride the Grand Prix," says Andrzej Głoskowski.

The whole podium belonged to Poland. Second place went to Martin Rozynek with Kamir Red Wine, and third to Adam Nicpoń with Counter.

- Competing at a beach venue is not easy. Horses have to get used to this specific arena, especially when it comes to jumping towards the sea. However, it can be seen that from class to class, the horses feel more and more comfortable here and in these most important classes, we can expect amazing sport," emphasized Szymon Tarant, CAVALIADA Summer Sport Director.

CAVALIADA Summer on the beach in Świnoujście opened with the Small Tour (120 cm), for the prize of City Diet, under the patronage of Equista. Thirty-eight horse-and-rider combinations from seven countries took part, and the best one was Germany’s Christoph Lanske with Strawberry Girl. Second place went to Marc Bettinger and Vagabond Of Picobello Z, and the best of the Poles was Maksymilian Wechta riding Next One.

Marvin Jüngel, winner of the Hamburg Derby, on the mare Jolie Lafee, was victorious in the Medium Tour (135 cm) for the prize of Apart. The other places on the podium belonged to the Poles. Dawid Skiba and Tamagotchi were second, and Daria Kobiernik with Donna Neva S - third.

In the two classes within the Sunrise Tour for the prize of tobilet.pl, (110 cm) and for the prize of MM Trendy (120 cm) we saw a total of 53 pairs. A double victory, with two horses, belonged to Roksana Fraczkowska (POL).

Thursday's two-rider relay, a novelty in the CAVALIADA Summer program, ended with a win for German representatives Philipp Schober with Jack Daniels and Marvin Jungel with Jolie Lafee.

Friday's programme includes the Big Tour, counting for world ranking, the rivalry in the pairs driving as part of ORLEN Summer Driving and, for the first time at CAVALIADA, the Six Bars.
