Highlights of the CAVALIADA Summer Świnoujście programme!
SHOW JUMPING
You will find a detailed description of this competition under the tab here. It is the most popular equestrian competition worldwide and the basis of the sporting rivalry of each edition of CAVALIADA. The competitions are divided according to the level of difficulty, which determines the height of the parkour and the difficulty prepared by the track host. The Amateur Round is the lowest and least demanding competition, subsequently the competitors can compete in the Small Round and the Medium Round. The most difficult and exciting competitions where we can meet the best riders and horses are the Big Round competitions and the final - the Grand Prix competition.
Competition at CAVALIADA is not just the classic show jumping. The programme is rich of “special” competitions, let's review some of them. The Team Competition is a competition between several to more than a dozen pairs on the same parkour. The team with the best aggregate score in the competition is the winner. The Team Competition is an excellent opportunity for family members or one club to compete together.
The Barrier Competition is a competition very similar to the one we know from the Power Jump which is adored by the public. In the Barrier Competition, competitors overcome a series of obstacles lined up for two steps of the horse's gallop. Each row can contain from 4 to 6 obstacles, with the last obstacle being the highest one. The specification of the competition requires great strength and agility of the horses and very high precision of the riders. The competition includes a basic ride and up to four games during which the height of the obstacles increases.
Speed & Music is a spectacular speed competition. Time is the most important factor in this competition, as each penalty point is converted into penalty seconds. It happens many times that riders who take a risk with a dynamic and very “short” ride despite the drop get the overall best score. The competition is accompanied by dynamic music to warm up the audience for cheering.
CAVALIADA Future is the competition between Poland's best children on ponies. Children who have achieved the best results in the Polish Indoor Cup and the Polish Championships are admitted to compete. The CAVALIADA Future - Relay , on the other hand, is a team competition, in which the total score of a team consisting of a rider of the mini and midi category and an adult rider who travels by car counts!
HORSE CARRIAGE DRIVING
As part of CAVALIADA Summer Świnoujście 2023, we will see three competitions in two-horse carriage driving. Eight teams selected from earlier qualifiers will take part in the competition. On Friday and Sunday will see two-round carriage driving agility competitions, where the most successful (least mistakes and best time) pair will win. On Saturday we will see a very spectacular parallel competition, with two teams competing in successive qualifying rounds until a winning pair is selected.
SHOWS
The Evening Show Blocks is a surprise we are preparing for the CAVALIADA Summer Świnoujście audience at the end of each day! At the moment we will not disclose the performers of individual blocks, such information will appear in May!
